THE ROOMS IN GOD'S HOUSE

Overview In every natural house there are rooms: the living room, the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, the dining room, the den, the attic, the basement as well as the front and back exit and entrance. In the spiritual realm, our bodies are the house of God, Our Father, Jesus, Our Saviour, Holy Spirit, Our Helper and Spirit of Truth abides, resides, lives. It is our Heavenly Family's home. He has made His abode in the born-again, blood-washed believer (John 14:23). His Spirit dwells within our hearts, our hearts is His throne room and living room, (the center of the house or the main quarters), the bedroom is where He meets with us in intimate personal devotion and revelation, praise & worship time, the kitchen is where we eat healthy food, God's Word), the den is where we meet with Him, as we meditate on Him and His Words of Truth, the bathroom is where we empty out all of our stuff to Him, (our cares, concerns, worries, problems, anxieties, hurt, pain, life's issues, trials, tests and troubles), the attic is where we serve and learn the will of God, His plan and purpose for our lives as we meditate on God's Word , as He thinks through our minds which is His computer room, downloading and uploading His willful data into our hearts and lives, the front entrance is the door to the heart where our God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit enters in (Rev. 3:20; Prov. 18:10), the exit door is our escape route from all of our troubles through Him (John 10:9-11), The name of the Lord (I Cor. 10:13) God will provide a way out. Enter into the strait gate (Matt. 7:14).

The purpose of this book is to give the believer a sense of knowing that God's ever abiding presence, love, and goodness is always with us and housed in us. Jesus said if you abide in Me and my word abide in you. You can ask whatever you will and He will do it according to His good will, His Word and purpose. Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit's presence lives in us. They are closer than skin. For we are the temples of the living God. As God has said: I will live in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they shall be my people (2 Cor. 6:16b).
